Football Game Preview: Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East Tigers vs. Jamestown Red & Green

The Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East Tigers will head out to challenge the Jamestown Red & Green at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East will be strutting in after a win while Jamestown will be coming in after a defeat.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East and Clarence, and Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East kept the tradition alive. The Tigers took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-6 victory over the Red Devils. With the Tigers ahead 30-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Jimmy Valentine continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 140 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.5 rushing yards per game. Dontre Hampton was another key rusher, rushing for 101 yards and one score on only six carries.

Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Jason Hargrove was especially locked on to Clarence's QB and sacked him twice.

Meanwhile, Jamestown came up short against Orchard Park on Saturday and fell 30-19.

Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Jamestown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East couldn't quite get it done against Jamestown in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 as they fell 28-16. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
