Soccer Game Preview: Brighton vs. St. Benedict at Auburndale

The Brighton Cardinals will take on the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brighton is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Brighton didn't have quite enough to beat Kingsbury and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, St. Benedict at Auburndale unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and Lakeland Preparatory finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result kept St. Benedict at Auburndale happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 8th.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabe Springer, who's now up to seven this season.

With that draw, St. Benedict at Auburndale's record moves to 6-2-1. As for Brighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.
