Volleyball Recap: Hawkins Comes Up Short

Hawkins lost against Tyler HEAT back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks came up short against Tyler HEAT, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-14.

Leading Tyler HEAT to victory were Lola Kelley and Sophie Middleton. Kelley had eight digs and two aces, while Middleton had four digs and three aces. That's the most digs Kelley has posted over her last eight matchups. Elliana Donally also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Hawkins' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Tyler HEAT, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-5.

Hawkins has already played their next game (against Alto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tyler HEAT, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Full Armor Christian Academy on the 18th.
