If Lighthouse Christian was riding high fresh off their 67-24 takedown of Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lighthouse Christian Lions fell 60-52 to the Franklin Christian Academy Falcons on Thursday. The Lions 's loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Lighthouse Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Haymer, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Haymer's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kolby Matthews, who posted 15 points and eight boards.

Even though they lost, Lighthouse Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Lighthouse Christian's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Franklin Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Lighthouse Christian has already played their next matchup, a 66-24 victory against Clarksville Christian on the 4th. Franklin Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
