Aberdeen Central's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers 9-0. The Golden Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The result came thanks to Kaylee Kiesow's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

On the hitting side, Aberdeen Central got a big performance out of Avery Bendewald, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base was Bendewald's first of the season. Jayla Breaw was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Aberdeen Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Mobridge-Pollock, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
