Football Recap: Locust Valley Takes a Loss

Locust Valley fell victim to Lynbrook and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Locust Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lynbrook, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Locust Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Plainedge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lynbrook will take on rival Bethpage at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Owls 13.6, the Golden Eagles 6.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
