Chichester came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Penn Wood Patriots get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 18-0 win on April 14th.

Cole Sanford was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. He also scored two runs, which is notable because Chichester is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Tyler Helton also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Chichester kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive contests.

Chichester's record now sits at 12-4. As for Penn Wood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
