Game recap: Northside High School Football Team takes down Greenbrier

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - A big 28-point second quarter helped carry the Eagles to a 35-0 victory over Greenbrier (Evans, Ga.) on Saturday.

Northside scored on a Donte Bryant touchdown run, a touchdown run by Curtis Martin, a punt return touchdown by Keshun Hill and a Bryant touchdown run in the quarter.

The lead that NHS took on a touchdown run by Hill with 7:00 remaining in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.

With the win the Warner Robins school extended its winning streak to eight games. The Eagles defeated the Greyhounds 35-0 last week.

Hill played well for Northside in the victory. The senior wide receiver ran for one touchdown.



NHS came into the game allowing 6.0 points per game. The zero points that the Wolfpack ended with were well below their average of 15.3 coming into the game.

Northside (8-0) goes up against Warner Robins in a AAAAA Region 2 game matchup next week, while Greenbrier (2-7) locks horns with Grovetown also in a AAAAA Region 2 game.
