Basketball Recap: Homer Takes a Loss

Homer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-33 loss at the hands of the Hanover-Horton Comets. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-15.

Homer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Hanover-Horton, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homer will challenge Grass Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanover-Horton, they will take on Leslie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
