Westfield won the last time they faced University, and Durante Morton did his part to make sure it happened again. The Westfield Shamrocks really took it to the University Trailblazers for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-31 victory thanks in part to Morton, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last ten games he's played.

Jalen Malone was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 11 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The win was the fourth in a row for Westfield, bringing their record for this year to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for University, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

The future could be bright for both Westfield and University: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Similarly, University will look to extend Decatur Central's five-game losing streak when the meet at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
