Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterloo). They blew past the Gibault Catholic Hawks 62-39 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bulldogs have posted since December 11, 2024.

Despite the loss, Gibault Catholic still got an impressive performance from Karmon Grohmann, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Hope Chambers was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Waterloo and bumps their season record up to 12-17. As for Gibault Catholic, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Waterloo will challenge Civic Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gibault Catholic has already played their next game (against Red Bud), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
