Recap: Ringgold Redskins vs. Arcadia Hornets
The Ringgold Redskins entered their tilt with the Arcadia Hornets with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Ringgold walked away with a 66-57 victory over Arcadia on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Ringgold's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was La'Daunte McCoy, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. McCoy continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Wilson, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Ringgold has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. As for Arcadia, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-13.
Ringgold will head out on the road to take on Evangel Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arcadia, they will be playing at home against Jonesboro-Hodge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Arcadia's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 16 matchups.
