Buford extends road losing streak to three

The Buford Yellowjackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Cheraw 57-22. Buford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.

Jaleah Faulkner had a dynamite game for Cheraw, dropping a triple-double on 17 points, ten assists, and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Faulkner has scored all season. Sa'Nya Murray was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Buford's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Cheraw, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buford will square off against Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheraw, they will head out on the road to square off against North Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
