Basketball Recap: Bell Creek Academy Takes a Loss

Bell Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the IMG Academy Ascenders 74-41. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Ascenders are ranked fifth).

Bell Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for IMG Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Bell Creek Academy will host Victory Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for IMG Academy, they will head out on the road to take on St. Mary's Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th.
