Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Head-Royce). They took down the Redwood Christian Eagles 79-64 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Jayhawks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Leading Head-Royce to victory were Tucker Peay and Jack Peay. Tucker posted 22 points and six boards, while Jack put up 22 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tua Montoya, who scored seven points and seven assists.

Head-Royce now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Redwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Head-Royce will venture away from home to square off against De La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Redwood Christian, they will head out to face off against St. Helena at 3:00 p.m. on the 18th.
