Volleyball Recap: Smithfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Smithfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Grafton Clippers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-6, 25-14.

Smithfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Grafton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Smithfield will face off against rival York at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Grafton is set to challenge their familiar foe Tabb at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
