Baseball Recap: Ravenscroft Comes Up Short

Ravenscroft came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights, falling 8-1. The Ravens were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Ravenscroft saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amos Welborn, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

While Ravenscroft had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
