Covington is 8-2 against Crawfordsville since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Athenians at 6:00 p.m.

While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-10 in the first set.
Covington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 10-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Crawfordsville came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hot Dogs by a score of 3-1.
Crawfordsville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-20.
Covington better focus on containing Alexis Ratcliff and Elliot Baker as the pair were huge in Crawfordsville's win. Ratcliff had 12 digs, while Baker had 11 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Baker has posted since back in September.
Crawfordsville's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Covington, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Covington has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Crawfordsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
