Baseball Recap: Perry Wins Going Away Against Jackson Center

Perry won the last time they faced Jackson Center and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Commodores blew past the Tigers 14-1.

Brodey Douce was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Douce was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hunter Scott, who scored a run while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Colten Scott, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Perry was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Perry's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Perry will head out on the road to square off against Bath at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jackson Center, they will take on Ridgemont at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
