The Covenant Preparatory School Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Covenant Academy Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (The Covenant Preparatory School has six straight victories, Covenant Academy has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The Covenant Preparatory School scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Briarwood at home to the tune of 93-36. The Covenant Preparatory School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 30 points or more this season.

The Covenant Preparatory School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jay Reyes, who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 13 assists, and ten steals. Reyes hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Tye Leatherman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten steals.

Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Covenant Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-45 loss to Calvary Baptist on Tuesday.

The Covenant Preparatory School pushed their record up to 13-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.4 points per game. As for Covenant Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for The Covenant Preparatory School against Covenant Academy when the teams last played on January 5th as the team secured a 82-52 win. With The Covenant Preparatory School ahead 48-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.
