Sardis entered their tilt with Arab on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Knights. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Knights back in March, they had to take a 9-5 defeat.

Sardis' victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-9. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Arab, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
