If Life Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 130-33 takedown of Apopka Christian Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Life Christian Academy Lions fell 61-50 to the Pathways Eagles on Tuesday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Life Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Ahmed Salim Mustapha, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 13 boards, and nine blocks. Mustapha is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Travon Graves, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

Tidiane Diop was the offensive standout of the game as he put up 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Prabjot Singh, who had 11 points.

Life Christian Academy's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-2. As for Pathways, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Life Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Indian Rocks Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Indian Rocks Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three contests. As for Pathways, they will welcome Hope Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
