Volleyball Recap: Wright Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Tongue River Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-18.

Jocelyn Umiker paced Wright's offense, picking up nine kills. Umiker got some help from Arianna Baham and her 19 assists. Dani Barnhurst controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wright's loss dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Tongue River, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Wright has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hot Springs County on the 25th. Tongue River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
