Volleyball Game Preview: Royse City Bulldogs vs. Longview Lobos

Royse City is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Longview a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Royse City Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Longview Lobos at 6:30 p.m. Royse City will be strutting in after a victory while Longview will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with nine defeats in a row, Royse City turned things around against Forney on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jackrabbits. The Bulldogs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Royse City's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Longview lost 3-0 to Rockwall on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.

Longview's loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Royse City, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 22-15.
