Franklin has gone a perfect 7-0 against Oil City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Oilers at 4:00 p.m. Franklin has given up an average of 12 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Franklin lost 12-1 to Jamestown on Thursday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jersey Swartz, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Oil City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Sharon, falling 19-0.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Oil City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Franklin took their win against Oil City when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
