League recap: Highmore/Harrold rolls against Lower Brule

Highmore/Harrold took down Lower Brule 52-22 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Highmore/Harrold led 281 (9 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on the Sioux.

Wolsey-Wessington's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warbirds feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brandon Bergquist has thrown for 65 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Roy Lumpkin has three catches for 31 yards. Lumpkin leads the league in rushing with 490 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jim Jones's team takes on Wolsey-Wessington. Highmore/Harrold is in fourth place, while the Warbirds are in first place.

Sunshine Bible Academy suffered the largest drop in the standings this week, falling from second to fifth in 281 (9 Man). A 36-14 loss to Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central last week preceded the drop.
