Baseball Recap: Coldwater Comes Up Short

Coldwater suffered their closest loss since March 28th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Eaton Eagles by a score of 6-4. If the Cavaliers were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Coldwater and nudges their season record down to 18-4. As for Eaton, they moved to 6-15 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Coldwater will face off against New Bremen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Eaton, they will take on Kenton Ridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
