Soccer Recap: Dominguez Victorious

Dominguez kept a clean sheet against La Mirada on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the La Mirada Matadores. That's two games straight that the Dons have won by exactly two goals.

Guillermo Garcia and Angel Gallardo scored both of Dominguez's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Dominguez has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for La Mirada, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dominguez will host Norwalk at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dominguez is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for La Mirada, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gahr at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Gahr will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something La Mirada surely won't give up without a fight.
