It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Harlan County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Leslie County Eagles. The Black Bears haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Maddy Blair, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Halanah Shepherd also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Harlan County's record now sits at 7-10. As for Leslie County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Harlan County will welcome Middlesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leslie County, they will head out to face off against Owsley County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
