Pearl City is 8-0 against Wai'anae since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pearl City Chargers will look to defend their home pitch against the Wai'anae Seariders at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Pearl City headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but 'Aiea let them put that streak behind them. Pearl City never let 'Aiea onto the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. Considering the Chargers have won five games by more than seven goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Wai'anae can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Nanakuli as Wai'anae made off with a 5-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Seariders' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Pearl City now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Wai'anae, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Everything went Pearl City's way against Wai'anae in their previous matchup back in January, as Pearl City made off with a 6-0 victory. Will Pearl City repeat their success, or does Wai'anae have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
