Seven must be South Lyon's lucky number: they beat Zeeland East with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Lions never let the Chix get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

South Lyon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Zeeland East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-6.
