Central Cabarrus came out on top against East Rowan on Tuesday thanks in part to Tellis Bumgarner's efforts. Bumgarner turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and only one walk). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.
