Soccer Game Preview: King's Way Christian vs. Fort Vancouver

The King's Way Christian Knights will face off against the Fort Vancouver Trappers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King's Way Christian will be strutting in after a win while Fort Vancouver will be coming in after a defeat.

King's Way Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Onalaska get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering King's Way Christian have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 goals the game before, Fort Vancouver was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to Seton Catholic. While losing is never fun, Fort Vancouver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Seton Catholic are ranked 32nd).

King's Way Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-2-2. As for Fort Vancouver, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

King's Way Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Fort Vancouver in their previous meeting back in April, winning 2-0. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Trappers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
