Grace Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 47-42 W over Gardner-South Wilmington on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Zoey Baldridge had an outrageously good game as she went 12 for 16 on her way to 26 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Jorgensen, who went 7 for 15 on her way to 15 points.

Meanwhile, Illinois Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by Beecher and fell 62-26.

Grace Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Illinois Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Grace Christian Academy strolled past Illinois Lutheran in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 44-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grace Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
