Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian School Drops Highest Score of Season Against Liberty

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest Christian School). They put the hurt on the Liberty Lancers with a sharp 85-61 win on Thursday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Northwest Christian School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avi West, who went 10-for-17 to rack up 23 points. West's evening made it 32 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Caleb Grant was another key player, going 9-for-14 on his way to 21 points.

Northwest Christian School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 37.1% in those games and 29.2% outside of them. As for Liberty, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-12.
