Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nettleton). Everything went their way against the Marked Tree Indians on Thursday as they made off with a 16-5 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 4-13. As for Marked Tree, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Nettleton will venture away from home to take on Buffalo Island Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Marked Tree, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Crowley's Ridge Academy at 4:30 p.m.
