Recap: Cedar Ridge Raiders vs. Bowie Bulldogs
The Cedar Ridge Raiders had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over Bowie. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Peyton Dulin was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Cedar Ridge's points. Jaylen Bars was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 assists.
Cedar Ridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bowie, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Cedar Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Weiss at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Weiss' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for Bowie, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Michael's at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Michael's is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
