Basketball Recap: Patrick School Skates Past Peddie with Ease

Patrick School had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They claimed a resounding 90-59 victory over the Peddie Falcons. The Celtics have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Patrick School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Lee, who posted 23 points. Lee's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Amani Aw, who put up 16 points.

Patrick School's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.3 points over those games. As for Peddie, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Patrick School will be playing at home against Blair Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Blair Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Patrick School likes a good challenge. Peddie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
