Baseball Recap: Del City Comes Up Short

Del City lost against Shawnee back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Wolves, falling 11-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Del City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jakobi Wormsley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Del City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Shawnee, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Del City will challenge Putnam City North at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shawnee, they will square off against Nathan Hale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
