New Haven has gone 4-0 against Eastpointe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The New Haven Rockets are taking a road trip to square off against the Eastpointe Shamrocks at 3:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Saturday, New Haven was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-56 to Salem. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Eastpointe took a blow against Hamtramck last Sunday, falling 77-21. While losing is never fun, the Shamrocks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Cosmos are ranked 112th).

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Eastpointe, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Everything came up roses for New Haven against Eastpointe in their previous meeting back in February of 2018, as the squad secured an 82-47 win. Will New Haven repeat their success, or does Eastpointe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
