Softball Recap: Ridgeview Wolf Pack vs. Bakersfield Christian Eagles
Ridgeview extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 5-9. They lost 18-5 to the Bakersfield Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-7 on Wednesday.
Sofia Ramirez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
As for Bakersfield Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-14-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games.
On Bakersfield Christian's side, Maddison Misuraca was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Misuraca was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs.
