Soccer Recap: The Webb Schools Takes a Loss

The Webb Schools was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Polytechnic Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gauls of the 7-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.

Their goal came courtesy of Felipe Murillo, who's now up to two this season.

The Webb Schools' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Polytechnic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2-1.

The Webb Schools will be playing at home against Ontario Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Polytechnic will take on Providence in a holiday battle at on Tuesday.
