Volleyball Recap: Providence Day Chargers vs. Charlotte Latin Hawks

Providence Day lost against Charlotte Latin back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers fell 3-1 to the Hawks. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 23-25, 25-15.

Austen Graziano paced Providence Day's offense, picking up 12 kills. Graziano got some help from Ella Buelow and her 29 assists. Buelow also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Savannah Stevens, each putting up three.

Charlotte Latin found their leader in sophomore Ryan Burrell, who had 25 digs and two assists. Burrell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.

Providence Day's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Charlotte Latin, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Providence Day nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
