Volleyball Game Preview: Centerville Tornadoes vs. Scotland Highlanders

The Centerville Tornadoes are taking a road trip to challenge the Scotland Highlanders at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Centerville's tournament run continued when they took on Burke on Saturday. The Tornadoes fell 2-0 to the Cougars.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Scotland came up short against Wagner on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-15, 25-13.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Scotland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Centerville beat Scotland 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tornadoes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
