Preview: Dillon Wildcats vs. Conway Tigers
The Dillon Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Conway Tigers at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Dillon slipped by Marion 55-54. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dillon.
Dillon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rahmond Hamilton out in front who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Hamilton is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Shawn Samuel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Conway earned a 59-46 win over Georgetown on Wednesday.
Dillon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Conway, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Dillon barely slipped by Conway in their previous matchup last Friday, winning 37-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dillon since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
