Basketball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen East Takes a Loss

Morristown-Hamblen East lost against Science Hill back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes took a blow against the Science Hill Hilltoppers, falling 82-38. The contest marked the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Morristown-Hamblen East's loss came despite strong showings from Nathan Ball and Jaxson Archer. Ball posted 12 points, while Archer earned eight points.

Morristown-Hamblen East dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Science Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Morristown-Hamblen East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-49 win against William Blount on the 10th. Science Hill has also already played their next contest, an 87-68 victory against Elizabethton on the 10th.
