Basketball Recap: Waterville Comes Up Short

Waterville lost against Morse back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waterville Panthers took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morse Shipbuilders. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

Waterville's record now sits at 2-11. As for Morse, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 4-10 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterville will square off against Erskine Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morse, they will take on Wiscasset at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
