Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Pinkston back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lincoln Tigers lost 9-0 to the Pinkston Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 750th in Texas, while the Vikings are ranked 288th in Texas).

Lincoln dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pinkston, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Coincidentally, Lincoln and Pinkston will both be playing Wilmer-Hutchins the next time they take the pitch. Lincoln will head out to face Wilmer-Hutchins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Pinkston will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on March 5th.
