Recap: Green Canyon Wolves vs. Park City Miners

The Green Canyon Wolves put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Park City 64-46. Given Green Canyon's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Park City is ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Green Canyon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jared Anderson out in front who scored 20 points. Gavin Crane was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.

Michael Zagin and Luke Rice certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Zagin scored 12 points along with four steals, while Rice scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Cedric Donovan, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Green Canyon pushed their record up to 13-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Park City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Green Canyon will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ridgeline at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Ridgeline focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Park City, they will head out on the road to square off against Stansbury at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
