Football Recap: Ripley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ripley fell victim to Dresden and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Lions and fell 47-0. The defeat leaves the Tigers still looking for their first win of the season.

Jazarion Theus threw for 27 yards on seven of 16 attempts.

Dresden was led to victory by Luke Dipietro and Bruce Willis. Dipietro rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while Willis rushed for 46 yards and a pair of TDs. Dipietro's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 143 rushing yards.

Ripley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dresden, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Ripley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 58-0 defeat against Covington on the 26th. As for Dresden, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-26 win against Humboldt on the 26th.
